Refunds

We do not give refunds. You get 30 days free first, with no card taken, so you pay only after using it for a month.
We do not give refunds
Payments for a ScanIt sticker are final. We do not refund them, in whole or in part, and there is no cooling-off period after payment.
This is not a policy we expect to argue about, because nobody pays before trying it. Every sticker gets 30 days free, with no card and no payment details taken. You pay only after a month of using the thing you are paying for.
Including these
Changing your mind after paying.
Selling the vehicle, or the sticker coming off, being damaged, or being removed.
Deleting your account or retiring the code. Your sticker stops working, and the payment stays with us.
Nobody scanning your sticker. That is the outcome we all hope for, and it is not a fault.
Somebody scanning it and not reaching you, or reaching you and being unhelpful. Both are other people, doing as they choose.
Two things we do refund
If you were charged twice for the same sticker, we return the duplicate. Tell us and we will find it.
If we switch your sticker off and it turns out we were wrong, we switch it back on. If you would rather have the money back at that point, say so and we will return it.
Neither of these is a favour. Both are cases where you paid for something you did not get.
What you keep even so
Paying for a sticker pays for that code permanently. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no card kept on file, so nothing can be charged again — which is also why there is nothing to cancel.
If your sticker lapses because you did not pay, nothing is deleted. Your numbers and settings stay exactly as they were, and paying later brings them straight back on the same sticker.
If you think this is wrong
Write to us. A person reads every message, and the two cases above are settled without argument.
Outside those, the answer will be no, and we would rather say so on this page than after taking your money.
Write to us if something here does not match what happened to you.
