How it works
Put the sticker on your vehicle
It carries a QR code, there to be scanned when there is a problem or an emergency.
Choose what a scanner may see
Your number, your name, an emergency contact, your blood group. Nothing is shown until you allow it, and you can withdraw any of it at any time.
Someone scans it and can reach you
They see whatever you allowed, and can leave you a message with their own number if they want you to call back. Every scan is reported to you.
When it actually matters
Four situations you have probably been on one side of. One of them is not ordinary.
Your vehicle is blocking someone in
You parked tight and went inside. Someone needs to get out.
- Today
- They wait, ask around the shops, then resort to the horn.
- With a sticker
- They scan, type what is wrong, and you are notified at once.
- Who this helps
- Both of you. Nobody spends the afternoon in the road.
Someone damages your vehicle and wants to own up
A misjudged reverse, a scratch along your door. Nobody is nearby.
- Today
- Most drivers leave. There is no practical way to tell you, and a note blows away.
- With a sticker
- They scan and message you, with their number if they choose to give it.
- Who this helps
- You, and them. Few people want to leave damage unreported.
If you are injured on the road
A passer-by stops to help at the roadside. They do not know who you are, or whom to call.
- Today
- They call for help, which is right. But nobody who knows you is told for hours.
- With a sticker
- They scan and — if you allowed it in advance — see the emergency contact you nominated, and your blood group.
- Who this helps
- Your family, told in minutes rather than hours, because you chose to allow it before it mattered.
You are the one who needs to reach somebody
A vehicle is across a hospital entrance, or a shop shutter at closing time.
- Today
- You ask around, wait, and eventually have it towed.
- With a sticker
- You scan their sticker and tell them. They move it.
- Who this helps
- You. Which is usually what prompts somebody to buy one.
What we do and do not do with your details
Nothing is disclosed by default
A new sticker reveals nothing — not your number, not your name, not your blood group. Every setting starts switched off and remains off until you enable it.
Disclosure depends on the reason for the scan
A report that your lights are on and a report of a collision are treated differently. You may permit your own number for routine matters, an emergency contact for accidents, either, or neither.
Permissions can be withdrawn
Disable a setting and it stops being disclosed from that moment. Each change is recorded with the wording shown at the time, so any question about a past disclosure can be answered precisely.
No obligation is created
This provides a means of contact. It does not make anyone respond, and it is not an emergency service. Ambulance and police numbers appear whatever your settings say.
Only what is necessary is held
An email address, the vehicle details you record, and the numbers you permit. Anyone scanning your sticker is never asked to identify themselves.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Does my phone number become public?
No. It is shown only if you allow it, and only to someone standing at your vehicle who has scanned the code. If you allow nothing, nothing is shown.
Do I need an app?
No, and neither does the person scanning. It is a web page. Any phone camera opens it.
What stops people scanning it just to annoy me?
They have to be physically at your vehicle. We limit how many times one code can be scanned in a short period, and every scan is recorded. If someone misuses it you can report them and we can block them.
What happens if I sell the car?
Take the sticker off, or delete the code from your account, which stops it working immediately. Deleting it removes your details with it.
Is this an emergency service?
No. It gives whoever scans it a way to contact you or someone you nominated. Whether anyone calls, and what happens next, is not something we can promise. The ambulance and police numbers are always on the page regardless.
Is this a subscription?
Not in the usual sense. A sticker is paid for a year at a time — Rs 499 for the first year, Rs 799 after that — and nothing renews by itself. No card is kept, so nothing can be charged without you paying it. We write twice before a year ends; if you do nothing, the sticker simply stops showing your details.
Can I delete everything?
Yes, from your account, at any time. Your codes stop working and your details go.
